One of our long-standing clients at Tanc has been Cadbury, whose main UK office is in Bournville, Birmingham. On two occasions we’ve been asked to produce designs for limited edition runs of Dairy Milk bars, given as gifts to staff. I produced both sets of artwork, and visualised them in Cinema 4D — modelling, texturing and shading the packaging to mimic the purple sheen of the substrate that Cadbury use.
I’m a huge fan of the original icons modelled by MDI for Pearlfisher, used across the Dairy Milk range. To create a point of difference from the usual CDM milk churn that everyone knows, I decided to create two relevant 3D icons (in Cinema 4D):
